Spiritual Adventure Is Great For The Soul

By Essie Osborn

Anyone living in this world knows that tragedy can happen in no time at all and people should always be prepared for the worst. Sometimes people have to take a spiritual adventure in order to appreciate everything that life has to offer them. These are really great trips that can really open up someone's eyes to what is going on within this world. Movie producers have always explored this material with certain movies such as "Eat, Pray, Love." This particular film deals with an individual who is trying to find her way.

She met all kinds of interesting people who taught her a variety of different things. Fortunately the character also found romance which was very important. There was a man living in New York City who had decided to go on one of these quests since things were not going well for him at this time. He decided to leave his job for a while and take a trip around the world from the money that he saved.

He first went to Ireland to learn all about his ancestors. Even though his parents had never returned to this land after they had left many years ago. Upon his arrival he was greeted by his very friendly cousins at the airport and they all gave him a great big hug. This made him feel very special and happy that they were willing to welcome him into their home.

For a few days he was able to experience all of the Irish traditions that his parents had forgotten about. The nights were filled with dancing and lots of laughter. Everyone had some great story to tell about his grandparents and parents who were once part of this clan.

His uncle taught him many new Irish songs and his aunt showed him how to make a good stew from certain foods. His belly was indeed full after this journey and he was very glad that he made the trip. After leaving Ireland this male decided to take a trip to Scotland and catch up with an older uncle.

While visiting Scotland he was able to stay with a great uncle from his mother's side of the family. He and the uncle had great fun since they had so many things in common. It was indeed fortunate that his older uncle enjoyed playing good music with his bagpipes.

It seemed as though the week went by quickly and he was again off to another place. England would be his last place to visit since it is truly the heart of the United Kingdom. Everyone in all of these places had been very kind to him and he greatly appreciated their generosity. He had no living family members in England but that did not stop him from going forward.

This made him very sad but he decided to rent a hotel room and stay for a few days. Luckily this male had enough money to enjoy all of the sites of this city and was able to travel in great style. When his journey was over he had a better understanding about his family and life.
