1 Day Workshop on Turning Journalists into Friends and Advocates
Benefits and Outcomes Working from real life case studies and participants' experiences, this highly practical workshop teaches participants how to increase the 'hit' rate of their stories through the well thought out media outreach strategies (including but not limited to the creation of a trustworthy relationship between staff and journalists) so they are able to keep their initiatives front and centre of positive public perception. Working with the participants' inherent knowledge of the media situation in Singapore, the workshop develops a greater sensitivity of the agendas of the different news media - from print to electronic to digital – in Singapore, as well an understanding of how they work.
