Course Introduction

In this fast changing world that requires quick turnaround times in implementation, Project Management skills have become more of a necessity than the sole requirement of the specialist project manager. The ability to set clear objectives, using a structured method to create a realistic plan, and work together with your team to see the plan through to a successful completion will set you apart from others. Even if what you are working on is not officially called a "project", the ability to manage the activities collectively from beginning to end, no matter the size, is a highly desirable skill.

Trainer's Profile

Zahari (Zack)

Zahari (Zack) is an ACTA-certified (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment) Trainer with vast experience, knowledge and skills in the area of Project Management and Quality Assurance. His gregarious nature, enthusiasm, dynamic presentation and facilitation skills ensures engaging and fun learning. A combination of various training and facilitation methods including interactive group discussions, practical hands-on activities and quizzes reinforces the learning.

He has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2006. Driven by his passion in inspiring people to learn, he chose to be a trainer from the beginning of 2013, to impart his knowledge and share his experiences. During that period, he has conducted numerous foundational project management courses and PMP Exam Preparation courses for both the public and corporate clients.

Prior to that, he was an employee for Motorola in the IT department for almost 20 years. He has performed roles as a Software Developer, Quality Assurance Manager, Project Manager, and a role in the PMO (Project Management Office). In his capacity as QA and PMO, he developed project management processes, procedures and methodology based on the PMI PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge) and CMMi (Capability Maturity Model) for the organization. He has conducted countless training for the organization on the processes and tools. He also mentored and coached Project Managers.

He is a Certified Software Quality Assurance (CSQA) professional and upholds the importance of quality in everything he does.

He also facilitates leadership team-building activities for youths in secondary schools and polytechnics.
