Financial Management For Executives – Analysing Financial Statements – [20 Mar '15]

Financial Management Skills For Executives is a series of 1-day workshops for Professionals and Managers who need to make sense of the many terms, numbers and ratios that are often use in the day to day running or the strategic planning of a business unit or function.  This series is also beneficial to those in Corporate Functions such as HR, Audit or Legal who need to work closely with their Finance or Business counterparts.

The Analysing Financial Statement workshop is an intensive and practical workshop that trains you to put on a pair of x-ray spectacles to see subtle and critical information in between the lines of the financial statements that are not very obvious to a layman.  Such techniques are covered in the topic on financial statement analysis.   In particular, emphasis is placed on understanding a company's cash flow position and how to improve it.

TRAINER PROFILE



Raymond Ang, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Singapore, as well as a Master of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University, Sydney.  He has more than 35 years of working and training experience in the areas of accounting, finance and statistics. Besides conducting training and seminars for corporate clients and the public, he also gives lectures on accounting, finance and statistics courses at foreign universities represented by local educational institutions.


To make the training interesting, he uses simple daily analogies to explain complex concepts for easy understanding.
