Conflict is always present. At home, at work and where we socialize. It can be within ourselves, between people and between groups and organizations.

This workshop is designed to equip the participants with the skills necessary to manage difficult people and conflict at their workplace and yet, be an effective team member.

As a result of this training, participants will cope with on and off the job conflicts better by following an action plan for dealing with the conflicts they face.

About the Trainer
 
Ms Nancy Yeo has over 25 years of professional work experience in reviewing processes of companies' systems spanning all industries including:-
 
 
  • Management structure recommendations for improvements,
  • Consultant for cases involving fraud,
  • Change management projects involving training and motivating staff at all levels into accepting and implementing of new procedures.

Nancy started her first working experience in 1985 with PWC, then referred to as Price Waterhouse. Head hunted to join Arthur Andersen in 1987, an international consulting firm with over 100,000 professionals globally, as their Asia Pacific Training Director. Her key responsibility which is still very much her passion today is to equip professionals and support staff with effective interpersonal skills to enable them to succeed in their workplace – hence the effectiveness of her training delivery – usually over 4 out of a 5- point score.

She has since trained thousands of professionals across all levels, both locally and in Asia Pacific, on many interpersonal skills. Her clients include Changi International Airport Services, Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Technologies/Temasek Holdings, Barclays Bank, A*Star (government agency for scientists and researchers), Price WaterhouseCoopers (Singapore), Deloittes, Ernst & Young, Overseas Chinese Bank Corporation (OCBC) and countless more including Hospitals and IT firms. She advised company leadership in Asia Pacific offices concerning their education programs for auditors and consultants conduct training needs assessments, assessing external vendors' programs, customizing training programs from USA and UK for Asia Pacific audience.

Nancy was certified in USA, Illinois, St. Charles, to design, develop and deliver management development courses. She was rated as the top trainer in St Charles. Certified by the Australian Psychologists Press, Victoria, as a fully qualified instructor and administrator for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) training programmes. She is also accredited to do DISC personality profiling and is actively delivering these personality profiling workshops for government agencies in Singapore Nancy has extensive experience in delivering management development courses for all levels within Andersen and with external clients. Participants in such train-the-trainers sessions come from all over Asia Pacific, India, USA, UK and Europe. She conducted cultural awareness sessions for Andersen's global leaders at the Firm's residential training programmes. Her regional training experience provides her with good understanding of the many different and unique cultures in Asia, enabling her to manage and communicate effectively across cultures.

She successfully established the internal training framework for Andersen PRC offices, and even created an external client training service line. She had done extensive in-house training for clients, and was very much in demand by the clients there.

Nancy brings with her over 25 years of global work experiences, and her understanding of office politics, communication, management and working with colleagues is certainly an asset to any organisation that uses her training programmes. The accumulated experiences she gained from the global leaders she worked closely with certainly make her an asset to any organisation who works with her.
