You Can Choose From Many Supernatural Fiction Books

By Sally Delacruz

There are many sources for creepy stories, which people will love reading. If you love supernatural fiction books, you will certainly have an abundance of choices, related to all sorts of subject matter. The CIA alone has provided much ammunition for writers to create some really awesome reading materials.

In addition, a presidential commission, headed by Nelson Rockefeller helped in these investigations. The government investigation was seriously complicated by the fact that the CIA had time to destroy a significant part of the documents that could shed light on what they were doing. However, most of the surviving documentary evidence has also not been declassified, making many conspiracy theorists very happy and creating opportunities for writers to really get out there with their works.

Ordinary Americans are under double psychological pressure - on the one hand, there is a very popular proposition that the country is almost surrounded by enemies, that only dream to take down the country and deprive the population of its traditional way of life. This fear is addressed in many books, and it helps them to become even more thrilling. On the other hand, another problem, the threat of security from your own government and security services can also be used by writers.

Writers write about agencies that pick up their citizens under the guise of total control. Of course, a revelation will only add fuel to the fire, so much so that the abbreviation NSA evoked a reaction in the average American that is not much nicer than the KGB. But if from foreign intelligence services still somehow protect their own, then there is just no way to be protected from the spooky doings of your own home.

Writers write about wiretapping of conversations, mind altering experiment, carried out under the pretext of "fighting terrorism" and more.In addition, U. S. Intelligence agencies have more than once been accused of conducting cruel experiments on human beings, which has led the masses being paranoid, often spawning conspiracy theories, which are no less infectious. This information is used creatively as a background by the writers of many supernatural books.

You will find many tales that tell of all sorts of unnatural events and entities, from ghosts, to telepaths. These stories are continued in music, literature and cinema, strengthening and spreading their stature among the population. However, the public may have ample reason for panic, as the line between reality and the stories can become blurred.

Take for example, what happened when in 1974, an issue of the "New York Times" had some sensational journalistic investigation to display, which resulted in the exposure of one of the most sinister and mysterious projects in recent history. It was about the CIA program codenamed "MK-Ultra" and was dedicated to raising funds to establish full control over the mind and consciousness of a human.

There are books written on many other matters, while still remaining in this genre. This could involve everything from vampires, through psychics, all the way to zombies. You will certainly find something nice to read.
