Critical Thinking For Leadership Success – For Managers & Supervisors [16 July'14]

“Think critically!” is a common exhortation Managers & Supervisors are challenged with. Given the fast pace of change, the quality of our thoughts are vital in addressing complex challenges that change brings about. Consciously thinking about how we think will enable us to improve our thinking process in rationally solving complex problems and making strategic decisions.

A leader or manager who thinks critically will:

  • Raise vital questions and problems, formulating them clearly and precisely
  • Gather and assesses relevant information and interpret it effectively
  • Come to well-reasoned conclusions and solutions, testing them against relevant criteria and standards
  • Think open minded within alternative thoughts, recognizing and assessing, as need be, their assumptions, implications, and practical consequences
  • Communicate effectively with others in figuring out solutions to complex problems

This 1-day Critical Thinking workshop will equip participants with skills for applying critical thinking that will enhance individual and organisational performance, so as to achieve leadership success.
