Historical Non Fiction Books Are Fabulous

By Helga Stokes

Children everywhere enjoy reading historical non fiction books since these readings will educate them fully. Any parent knows that their child needs to learn their history before venturing out into this world. Great people from the past include Amelia Earhart, Helen Keller, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Ludwig van Beethoven, Rosa Parks and Jesus Christ.

A young woman known as Helen Keller was born in the year 1880 and she lived until 1968. This lady could not see or hear but yet she was able to live a very full life among other human beings. "Helen Keller: The Story Of My Life" is a very important novel for everyone to read if they want to learn more about this famous person. It details all of the pain and heartaches that she went through while growing up.

God was willing to send his only son into this world many years ago and this act proved to be very fatal. Jesus Christ performed many miracles to mankind throughout his lifetime on Earth but he was still seen as an enemy to quite a few individuals. Religious people all around will read the title "Who Is Jesus" when they want to learn more about this man.

Each and every black child in America will always remember the late great Martin Luther King Jr. At least one day during the year. This man made it clear that he would not stand for people being treated unfairly because of the color of their skin. He was part of the most famous marches throughout the south and all of these movements are talked about in the writing "Martins Dream."

In the year 1770 this world was introduced to a great talent called Ludwig van Beethoven. He wrote and performed many musical pieces throughout his lifetime and was known as a very creative person to most people. Young rock stars have always incorporated his style into their music and they may even have read the novel "Bold Composer: A Story About Ludwig van Beethoven."

Mother Teresa was a force of nature who everyone loved and admired. During her life she was able to care for all types of individuals who suffered from disease and illness. She was given many awards for her work and young women across the world wanted to be just like her. "Come Be My Light" tells all about her life and great deeds that were done.

Certain people would always have to move to the back of the bus if it were not for a lady called Rosa Parks. She stood up for her rights in a very racist part of America and was arrested because of this fact. Teenage girls of color should take the opportunity to read "I Am Rosa Parks" since she made such a terrific role model.

Historical non fiction books can be found at local bookstores and libraries around the globe. Girls everywhere love the great woman called Amelia Earhart. She was bold and adventurous throughout her lifetime and simply vanished without a trace. "Who Was Amelia Earhart" takes a look at her short life.
