A Man Of His Word: A Dave Dunkan Series Books

By Tony Waza

These are books I have read a number of times for several years, as I have constantly been fascinated and intrigued by magic and magical powers. This is an amazing series about a boy who works inside the stables of a castle in a far away kingdom. He's pals with the princess Inos, who ends up becoming kidnapped via a magic casement. He figures he should find her and begins a journey to rescue her.

On his way to find her, he becomes essentially the most powerful magic user in the world after realizing he is in love with her! By no means is this a romance novel, it's truly is a wild ride all the way to the end and may be the most original fantasy book I've ever enjoyed reading!! The magic is exclusive, the entire world is special along with the characters are unique. I constantly recommend this series to science fiction lovers.

Rap and Princess Inos lived inside a backwater kingdom called Krasnegar, exactly where not significantly happened because it was a boring realm. Princess Inos discovered herself sent to the Empire to find out the best way to turn out to be a lady. Although she was away Rap's strange magical talents began to emerge, and also the king fell ill. Rap struggled through goblin infested waste and jungle to warn Princess Inos that she required to claim her birthright. Tiny did he know it was a journey ordained by the gods considering that before the world began.

In the book Faery Lands Forlorn, Inos returned to her kingdom just as her father dies, only to become kidnapped through the magic casement as her tiny kingdom is being overrun. She is held prisoner in the desert by a sorceress. Rap followed her by means of the magic casement and in an effort to rescue the Princess, finds himself not in a desert, but inside the steaming jungles of faerie! Rap is determined to rescue his queen at any expense.

The story Perilous Seas starts where Rap continues his journey to locate his love. He is now armed with the powers of a magic word and an resolve to find his beloved Inos, even when he is sailing with the meanest of the Nordland Raiders on the ship Blood Wave...

In the Emperor and Clown (the fourth book in the series "A man of his word"), Rap gets put in a dungeon and is sentenced to death. Inos becomes forced in to marriage with Azark and it seems Rap is hopeless to stop any of it. I must say this is by far the best book of the series. Rap beats impossible odds and even death. He is then asked to do something he can't by the gods themselves after he far more powerful then he wanted.
