Financial Management For Executives – Understanding Financial Statements – [26 Nov '14]

Financial Management Skills For Executives is a series of 1-day workshops for Professionals and Managers who need to make sense of the many terms, numbers and ratios that are often use in the day to day running or the strategic planning of a business unit or function.  This series is also beneficial to those in Corporate Functions such as HR, Audit or Legal who need to work closely with their Finance or Business counterparts.

Financial Statements are the reports that shows the financial performances of any business big and small; somewhat similar to a body health report that we get, sometimes filled with technical medical jargon . However, its importance is undisputed and not to be taken lightly. Financial Statements helps us to figure out where the current financial status of our businesses are and are key basis for management & external parties like financial institutions to make recommendations & important decisions that can directly affect the departments, divisions and even the entire company.

Understanding Financial Statements is an intensive and practical workshop that gives you a good understanding and overview of what financial statements are.  Typical business transactions are explained and analysed before showing how they flow into the financial statements.

Participants will then prepare the Income Statement and Balance Sheet based on the typical transactions.

This workshop is also available for customized in-house training for Managers and Employees.   Please contact us at  sales@3pointe.com.sg.
