Audio books are widely acceptable even in the past few years by non readers, second language learners, disabled students and struggling readers. Studies show that these audiobooks have successfully helped a lot of students especially younger children to access literature and en joy books. Unfortunately, they are ignored by average, avid and gifted readers. Although it is popular today, but some people are still unsure of its importance.

Listening to audiobooks brings a lot of benefits. This is the best way for many parents, to share enthusiasm with their children who will listen. Dealing with childrens audio books online is definitely different from reading a book. It is important to understand the whole concept of these books because some people consider it as cheating.

If reading is understanding the content of a book or story, then an audio book certainly succeeds. No one would argue the great importance of decoding in teaching kids to read. It would be much easier for children to know and understand a certain language and learn advanced words.

It is helpful for younger children to appreciate and understand unfamiliar accents and dialects. If English is not your first language, you will surely benefit from hearing a clean native speech and pronunciation patterns. Audiobooks open up literary contents for blind persons and great for learning disabled people. Individuals with attention Deficit disorders may find it effective as listening is more distraction free than reading.

Even you are cleaning, traveling, driving, cooking and exercising, you can still learn something from it. Whether your children listen to a book or reading one, a part of their experience is for the development of their comprehension and critical thinking skills. Listening to such audiobooks can continue to establish great skills.

Let your children to retell the story they are listening to and let them share their favorite part and ask some questions about each character and plot to support their understanding of the whole story being told. Exposure to different narrators provide kids a clear understanding of how a storyteller can bring a certain story.

Every narrator brings something different to tell the story and listen to different narrations and models for children on how to read with confidence and flair. This is the best way to create voices for characters and story lines themselves when reading on their own.
