Get To Know Concerning The Book Of Jesus Christ

By Tamika Quinn

Everyone should have the time to think about what the Book of Jesus Christ entails. There is so much that is being discussed on religion and religious beliefs and their types. Jesus is the son of the virgin Mary and Joseph (the carpenter). He came from heaven to save mankind from our iniquities through death on the cross.

If you are one of the many people who sometimes wonder if there's much more to Jesus Christ than made known in the Holy Bible, then the truth is there is. Yes, Jesus Christ lived a much normal life just like most of us do in our daily lives from childhood to adulthood. Apart from the Holy Bible that many Christians believe in, the book of Mormon is another popular testament of Christ.

The book of Mormons is mostly used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormons. There are so many things in this book by the Mormons that you will enlighten you. For one, the Mormons believe that, Joseph Smith had an angelic visitation in the year 1923, by the Moroni.

The book of Mormon or Jesus Christ goes further to say that, the Moroni told Joseph Smith that it was in his destiny to translate a historic record of the Almighty God's discussions with the Ancient American. According to Book of Mormon or Jesus Christ also continues, in the year 1827, Joseph Smith made a discovery of a collection of metal plates that were buried in the ground in Western New York state in Indian mounds close to his house.

On these metal plates he came across a history assembled by Mormon who was a prophet and historian. This history was about the Jesus's visitation to some Hebrew tribes who were residents in America. Also, it was about a story that Smith made known to the world and through the advent of the book of Mormon.

In the yr. 1830, John Smith made book of Mormon available to public". He created an organization which is now widely known as the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" and its members are now also called the Mormons. The book is divided into 15 sections with each book named in relation to its major author.

The titles of these books include; Nephi, Enos, Jacob, Jarom, Omni, The Words of Mormon, Helaman, Mosiah, Alma, Mormon, Nephi, Moroni and Ether. The very first 6 books were taken from Nephi metal plates. Also, in the section of the book titled "The Words of Mormon", there is a link from small plates to Mormon's large plates of the abridgements.

With the second book, you get a translation of the abridgement of Mormon from the large plates and the final sections based more on works by Moroni which includes book of Ether. Reading from the Book of Jesus Christ (Mormon), Jesus Christ visited the Nephites after He was crucified and after He rose up. Going through these books; Enos, Nephi, Jacob, Jarom, The Words of Mormon, Omni, Helaman, Alma, Mormon, Mosiah, Nephi, Moroni and Ether isn't a bad thing.
