Perhaps the most common is the phrase "content is king," which can be applied to many other industries as well. What exactly does this phrase mean, though? Have you been saying it without knowing its true meaning? If you'd like to know what this phrase is all about, you'll have to go back all the way to 1996.

The reason why 1996 is an important year, as far as this topic is concerned, is because an essay called "Content is King" was published on the Microsoft website. It was written by Bill Gates, one of the company's co-founders and arguably the greatest entrepreneur in the computer business. Gates wrote this essaying, saying that he saw content being where the money would eventually head from a business standpoint. In years past it was in radio and TV; nowadays, the Internet is where everyone has their focus set on.

Gates also said in this essay that the Internet gives anyone the opportunity to publish the content they want. Needless to say, the freedom to do so has grown since then, as numerous blog sites and social media accounts exist today. These are used to continually create and share out content. Furthermore, this can be done with ease, which wasn't possible a few decades ago. According to reputable names like www.fishbat.com, content has become widespread.

For proof of how "content is king" has developed, all you have to do look at the fields that utilize it. This is true for not only Long Island SEO, but web design, graphic design, and marketing in general. Not only is it vital for the content in question to rank well, which is where SEO comes into play, but it must be crafted with a sense of care. Content is everywhere these days, but only when it's made well will it be able to perform at or even above expectations.

If anyone needs proof of Bill Gates' impact on the tech field, his "Content is King" essay from 1996 is a solid example. He knew that this was more than just a mantra; it would become a focal point for business as a whole. As a result, it would make sense for both old and new businesses to follow said mantra in the future. By doing so, they would be able to find new business and, more importantly, grow.
