Financial Management For Executives – Activity Based Costing- [24 July ’15]

Financial Management Skills For Executives is a series of 1-day workshops for Professionals and Managers who need to make sense of the many terms, numbers and ratios that are often use in the day to day running or the strategic planning of a business unit or function.  This series is also beneficial to those in Corporate Functions such as HR, Audit or Legal who need to work closely with their Finance or Business counterparts.

The concept of Activity Base Costing (ABC) may sound abstract but essentially the fundamental objective is to very simply assign numerical costs of all related activities that were involved in delivering a service or product; thus presenting hard accurate figures for decision making. Increasingly, businesses are relying on ABC to help them make business decisions. With a good ABC System, businesses are able to identify the costs of their products & services more accurately. In turn, it will enable them to know their cost competitiveness and profit margins. Non-profitable activities can also be identified and the resources be re-assigned accordingly.

This 1 day Activity Based Costing workshop is an intensive and practical workshop that gives you a good understanding and overview of what cost allocation and Activity-Based Costing are.  Concepts are explained before designing an Activity-Based Costing system.

This workshop is also available for customized in-house training for Managers and Employees.   Please contact us at sales@3pointe.com.sg.
