Significance Of Past Family Heartwarming Stories

By Andrea Rivas

Everybody has a past, whether good or bad. Some people are very proud of their experiences to an extent of creating some heartwarming stories from them. Others on the other hand would want nothing to do with theirs. However much they try to run away from it however, they need to know that such experiences build the persons they are today. It is from past mistakes that people learn to create a better future.

A story tells more about the individual personality than they may want to reveal. Those that always talk about positive aspects of life are happy persons, and are out to affect their loved ones positively. However, those that are always negative about life in general may have had bad experiences that build up their frustrations.

Most people identify themselves with good family histories. Such individuals would not let a moment pass by without reminding those around them of their achievements. On the other hand, people with bad histories hardly talk about them. If compelled to tell something, they would fabricate things and come up with something to cover their true self.

The significant role played by family tales is the link they build between the past, the present and the future. People understand themselves better, and are able to create a niche. Consequently, children feel a sense of belonging when told such histories, which they later pass on to their children.

From such tales, they learn about past family victories and cultures. Some would go to the extent of practicing them, or boast about them to their friends. Obtaining such information is sometimes difficult though because most are not recorded. However, family gatherings and reunions are the perfect chances to gather some information.

Such reunions avail some heartwarming stories of past members. It could be about their mischief or great love tales. All these are part of the family history, hence should be stored for future generations.
