Nursing Stories Are Made For Everyone

By Marsha Klein

This world has plenty of great nursing stories to tell to every child around. This is one way that these tiny tykes can learn how valuable these individuals are to society and all of the great good that they do. Many American citizens have already trained to become one of these medical workers that usually wear their heart on their sleeve.

One certain woman who lived in New York City worked as a full time attendant at a local hospital and did some extra work in private duty. She would rush through the busy streets of Manhattan everyday in order to be on time for work. Other individuals always saw her with a smile upon her face since this particular woman was quite happy.

Once she made her way out of this hospital she would rush towards the New York City subway station. Her destination would be to upstate New York where all of the rich and powerful people lived. There was always a handsome driver with a great big car to meet her at the upstate station. He would drive this lady to a very large house where an older lady resided.

The older lady was always happy to see her dear friend and caretaker each and every night. The two of them would always play a game of checkers after dinner was served and then they would do some knitting. After this was done the senior woman would become tired and this was the attendants cue to help her to bed.

It was the duty of this friendly attendant to make sure that this older lady would drink her glass of warm milk before going to sleep. When time allowed the caretaker would read a romance novel to this generous senior. The young lady knew that she had to go back to reality once this was over.

Visiting with this particular older lady made everything else worthwhile for this young attendant. She knew that the older person would always have very fond memories of her and their daily activities. The train ride was very quiet since everyone was either already at home or walking on the busy streets of New York. It was no surprise that there were people all around Manhattan even for this late hour. She reached her home in no time at all and then sat alone in her very tiny apartment.

The next day after her shift at the hospital was over with she immediately headed towards the busy train station. She could not wait to tell her dear old friend about her adventurous day and all of the excitement that had taken place. As usual the big black car was there to meet her again and she quickly climbed onto the back seat.

A great deal of nursing stories are always told with tact and great style even if they end in a disturbing manner. This girl received very shocking news once she entered the large house. Her dear senior friend had died while sleeping and this meant the end of their friendship. In a short matter of time this faithful attendant discovered that she would now be a part of the woman's fortune forever.
