It is common to find a contemporary Christian novelist who testifies that the Bible plays an important role in his literary career. Of course, there are those who seem to create tales that revolve around recent occurrences. A writer can have many books to his name. Alternatively, he can be the proud owner of a single title. It all depends on whether a person is a full time author or works for a limited number of hours during a week. Not every author is mediocre. Some have won many awards and are considered as the cream of this industry.

A good percentage, are Europeans. Since time immemorial, this part of the world has been known for producing some of the best writers. There are also those who are based in the United States. Irrespective of race or nationality, the products of such people are usually read by people from different walk of life. It is a wonderful feeling to know that one's ideas have been read and appreciated by many people. Something that has gained worldwide exposure will definitely be critiqued by the best minds in the industry.

Authors are ranked differently, according to an array of factors. Some are highly experienced while a good number have written for less than a decade. With constant writing comes the perfection of an art. Eventually, a novice will become a real expert if he does not give up. The learner should strive to learn as many things as possible within the shortest time possible if he desires to have upward professional mobility.

The novelist with a contemporary orientation will not shy away from modern day issues. In recent times, many new matters have arisen as the relevance of some past customs and practices begin being seriously questioned. It is usually said that change is the only constant in the world. Civilizations are not in the same state as was the case a thousand years ago.

The prevailing cultural climate has good and bad sides. Not everything about modernity is awesome. It is the duty of the novelist to create sarcasm around evil while glorifying what is considered moral. Great authors not only entertain but also offer wonderful information.

Some modern day writers who are Christians are full time authors. Also, there are those who work part time. With time, someone who dedicates an hour or two every week can decide to increase the time spent creating novels. Most people normally start small and end up big after receiving worldwide applaud.

Biblical themes weave through the contexts of some modern novels. It is undeniable that the Bible has greatly influenced many literary works. Old fashioned principles continue to shape new trends because of the wisdom contained in age old philosophies. Words of virtuous Prophets of the past continue to echo in present day literature.

The theme can also be inspired by what has person has endured during the course of life. Some people have faced challenges that looked insurmountable but they ended up being conquers. Real life tales or fiction, are usually documented into award winning novels.

The world of religion needs the work of a contemporary Christian novelist. This is because of enlightenment he offers. Moral lessons can actually be acquired.
